Literary - Lectures for January 2009...
We have had a very interesting programme of lectures during the months of October and November. Our last meeting of the year is on 1 st December when Derek Fulford will be talking on the life of a J.P.
We reconvene again on January 5 th when we shall have a lecture by Paul Whittle entitled “Toy Train to the Clouds” followed by Dr. peter Brandham speaking on “Arctic and Alpine” on January 19 th .
We invite you to come to our meetings starting at 7.45pm in the Upper Hall to hear excellent speakers who have studied their subjects for many years.
