On Sunday 6 September we were able to resume worship in the church for the first time since March. We had in place all of the required preventative measures and it was pleasing to see that so many people took them in their stride.
The service was led by Rev David Skitt with our Minister Martin Hazell providing his support reading several bible passages. It was strange to see faces hidden by masks and no singing and yet there was a feeling that despite everything the fellowship was strong and yearning to worship together
To ensure we can continue to provide a safe environment there will be no service in the church on 13 September (but instead a Zoom service in the afternoon) but we will be back the following Sunday 20 September at 10:30.
